Then Maytech FTW, they have a support bearing for the can which is very good to have.

See now you leave out the critical info and have ppl vote too soon
5570 would probably look better in that case (6355 looks wonky on wide trucks imo)

6355 might stay a bit cooler :man_shrugging:

The 5570 should actually stay cooler, it has a higher surface area to volume ratio and the distance from the windings to the surface is smaller so it will dispate heat much faster

I think that you can get longer motors though…5080?

I mean it doesn’t make too much of a difference which motor you use, both should haul your ass around

lol being broke is such a mood, I seriously wanna get new toys but the ones I paid for aren’t here yet and I couldn’t get anything if I let myself

I think 55 motors give you more clearance too, so less scratches

New drivetrain came in today, but I fucked up and got the wrong amount of screws. Figures. McMasterCarr says it’s a Monday delivery… Perfect :smirk:

These motor mount adapters are sitting almost perfectly flush and seem to be quite strong, hopefully they last

@PixelatedPolyeurthan thanks! I saw the red and knew I had to find a way to make them work :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, whoever is out there processing orders at McMasterCarr, I SEE YOU OUT HERE.

I placed an order yesterday at 3pm and it’s already out for delivery according to UPS. That’s overnight shipping for 6 bucks! Fuck yeah :sunglasses:

Nowhere else to post it so I might as well do it here:

I’ve been working on my culinary game this break and I just finished baking my first ā€˜loaf’ (lump) of bread

I like the baking technique (Dutch oven w/ baking sheet below it for adding moisture), but my dough shaping skills need work o.O

It’s super simple and I think those of you bored at home should take a stab and try it. Maybe you’ll find you really enjoy it

I also made chocolate chip cookies and coffee cake =’)

A bowl of water does also the job for ya. Just as a tip

Yeah I’ve done a lot of reading as to the different methods, I’ll probably experiment around and try something different next time :man_shrugging:t2:

Oof I fucking hate food poisoning. Last time it was the fried Mac and cheese from a local place that got me

Too bad there’s no ā€˜lifehack’ to start feeling better more quickly x_x

Feel better

paracetamol haha. i must have had 3g total (every 4 hours) because i was in such a bad state. other than that lemon and ginger. One very helpful natural oil to use is Ravintsara. it tastes very much like eucalyptus but isn’t. boost your immunity and absolutely nails a bad throat. to be had with honey .

100 miles on her as of my ride today

Little to no maintenance for the last 80 miles or so, and hopefully nothing soon besides the bearings

I finally got around to jankily weighing my board since the only scale we have is a shitty digital one that’s probably 8 years old :joy:

KSB clocks in at 26 pounds! I figured it was sub 20s but aparently not.

maybe someone will find this useful for their own build :man_shrugging:t2:

E: also gave the initial post a facelift :ok_hand:
