Im testing a fix atm that has held up well for 100+mi.
Though it does involve going to the pharmacy to buy 18ga syringes while trying to not look like a junkie

5 of 7 have been partially or completely built by SKP.

The acedeck is stock and @zero_ads built his 4wd northcamp from the ground up.

If you’re not building your own battery, you’re just playing with legos.

jk jk, couldn’t resist

I have a plan,do not tell Artem. We set up some. build or repair, fund it,figure out by bribing his minions when he will work on it,show up ,take ruse board from him,put his board and him in to car, speed to nearest hilly area, SK8, quickly return him, he wont know what hit him, all just a whirlwind ,he is left in the shop with a goofy smile .

yes im home unsupervised today

Okay, found an issue and also think I solved it.

On trampa phatladz, the SKP 8in tires have a really bad wobble. I believed the issue was the hub because the bead was a very loose fit on the inside of the hub.

The solution I have in mind is a 3d printed TPU sleeve to increase the diameter of the hub to make the fit tighter. So far just hand spinning it on an axle, the problem is gone. Visually it’s night and day.

This should be printed in TPU and in vase-mode. The valve stem hole needs to be cut manually

This is a work in progress
Hub fix.3mf (33.1 KB)

I will be testing it over the next few days and will report back.

UPDATE

half way through my first test ride and WOW, very priming results, rolling very round-ly

UPDATE #2

Rode these a shit ton at Carve SEA, and it’s definitely problem solved. Definitely did over 100 mi no issues
