Skunks carver/mtb mut

I did this on my most recent board and it hasn’t budged yet. As our batteries are getting bigger and bigger, the mounting needs to be stronger too.

Velcro to keep the rattle down, dense foam to allow some flex still, sex bolts to do the heavy lifting.

I did thick rubber washers under my last enclosure and it definitely gives a bit more than this one.

Soooo i wanna do something with this i just don’t know what…
I’ve got the deck, trucks, hubs, motors and mounts.
Don’t have tires, pulleys, box or batteries anymore tho.
Don’t think i want to top mount anymore so that means i gotta make something for the bottom.

The deck is a beauty… is there not a pre-fab enclosure for it?

There is. But its very thin and brittle. i highly doubt there’s any survivors out there with the way their quality was new. And they made an updated wider version of the board so I don’t think they still make them.

Is that a skinned trampa?

The holypro enclosure will probably fit it if the deck is reasonably flat in terms of concave

A lot of Alan’s product listings have dimensions, but this one doesn’t seem to. Perhaps @eBoosted can help with some dimensions?

There’s also a single stack version

Even if it doesn’t fit perfectly, it shouldn’t be too hard to make it work with some foam/gasket

That looks nice.

Can you snag the measurements on that when its convenient?
