agreed i wanna try this at esk8con lets see if its a board i can handl the power of the take off
Whoah ! Absolutely fantastic Post and of course - that goddamn board . . .
I’m still loving my Evo to bits, alongside my Prototipo, with no real contenders for a ‘possibly, in the future’ board
The Subsonic Century deck - I’ve always been after, I see no need whatsover for 4WD or even Pneumatics as I’ll happily do up to 38 mph on Urethane on London Streets, but, if there was ever a possibility of changing my mind - You Sir, are a damn site nearer the mark than anyone else.
That is one amazing sounding and looking board
Congratulations cos that is some fantastic piece of Machinery that you have built = 11/10
edit
Jeez - Just spotted this last part . . . .
Count me in - 100%
Thank you! If you love your Evo and are wanting it scaled up and made fit for a larger battery…this is it! Also if you been contemplating pneumatics but love thane, can’t recommend the BKB 150mm enough, they are the perfect transition into AT without loosing the feeling of thane that some many love.
Yeah ! - I’ve got Land Surf RS 1 Wides with Meepo Tyres to go on my Proto , but after a few weeks of riding them I busted up my Hip real bad which would not have happened with Urethane (long story - lol)
White 111 Zoobombs were bought alongside bearings which immediately went on my Proto with the Pneumatics - now gathering dust . . . .
I’m totally up for your deck 101% and probably would be for the entire board if I was Stateside, but I’m UK based . . . I may have to buy the other bits and pieces in dribs and drabs, to avoid the extortionate import charges that buying a complete board would bring
You’re onto a winner here, for sure. Reserve me a deck - if you would be so kind
love the ride footage, its surprisingly entertaining to watch.
This has got me thinking about an ideal camera mounting setup for filming stuff like this. What failed on the one in the vid when it fell off?
Cheaper aluminum mount, I am going to try @SabreDynamics claw mount next
Yes, the longer the extension the more the leverage. Another issue with a longer extension is that they can swivel down a little with many vibrations, since the gopro thumbscrew clamping pressure will decrease as it comes a looser. When offroading with a 25 cm extension I had to tighten the screw from time to time. On a later ride I put a bolt through the ribs of my extension and used it as a holder for a skate bushing which got wedged between the bottom of the extension arm and the top of the deck. This prevents the arm from swivelling down, works like a damper stop basicly.
Hmm this is a great idea. I might try this on my raceboard with some old crap china bushings
Official Magnetic R battery 14s10p LGM50LT and Samsung 50S for those that want a bit MOAR AMPS!
Also one of the first batteries to leave my shop without me doing any work on it…the shop guys are getting good… real good
by the time the “shop guys” are (old enough to be )talking “they” will be designing, marketing and selling completes .
Nuts!!! The board performs as sweet as it looks. What kind of rims are you using here?
Love the simplicity of the rims look.
I think you posted this in the wrong thread my friend
Sounds like chat gpt lol
In the hopes of not being rude to a living breathing human, @beredis’s whole post history is a bit suspicious no?
