Just purchased a pair of Vans ultramarine old skool…, have ran Vans for years and just familiar with the feel of the shoe to deck. Live in MSP and found these at Mall of America. If you like Vans the store has pretty amazing with the selection.
Yeah vans beat everything else imo, cheapish, good quality, super comfy.
Nike SB Blazers, super grippy, kind of pricey but outlast any other skate shoe i’ve had 2-3 times over
(the suede ones do at least)
Im getting a pair of these soon just for skating as they look like they could hold there own. Also the price is good.

They had these at MOA in blue ultramarine just not in my size. Looked really cool and construction was excellent…
I typically wear vans sk8-hi tops.
But I’m currently wearing some Converse I got for dirt cheap.

The thing I appreciate on Vans is they 8 lace eye lites which typical shoes have 6 maybe 7 for low rise makes for a more snug tighter shoe. They also have a flat waffle base that gives a connection to the board that is well “Off THE Wall”.
Do you not skate in your 10k nike mags?
I know… Hoversk8’s and Nike mags are in the future
In the end, consuming too much isn’t that great…
That’s part of why I typically wear shoes until they disintegrate lol
