sk8tedad's cave of BS no build here

I was gonna ride it when I got home but I worked a nine hour shift drove four hours and 45 minutes and I just didn’t have it in me had to get up at four in the morning to go to work again

Tired riding/driving is definitely unsafe. Imo more so than intoxication, but neither are smart. Did you drive to pick up the board? Or just work commute?

Just re read my bad. Got it. Well probably worth it these things (analong included) keep me sane.

Yeah, I am riding a new board and I’m tired wasn’t a good idea and also my thumb has limited functionality from being broken a few times I probably only have 30% function. I prefer a trigger remote so the combination of all that just seems like a bad idea and I’m a heavy equipment operator so showing up to work tired not ready for work and be dangerous.

Oh yeah, I’m insufferable when I can’t ride

Did @Skyart add a spacer between the deck and enclosure?

I have the same deck and enclosure…with a random battery, but its too thick.

Of course I know no details of the battery because at work…but can provide details later maybe.

I don’t think so, he said ran for me it was gonna be about 20 miles so I don’t think so. I’m looking to add about 10 miles so I can get 30 real world miles with the way I rideout of it.
I’m happy you’re having a better he built in it and whatever came from torque for. It’s not that I know anything good or bad about their stuff
Actually, there is some remote is one of the better ones that I’ve seen that said I’ll be switching it for trigger as soon as possible. CC

I am really happy with the deck…no Torqueboard issues from me. I have big feet so its great, and the cutout is nice to keep the board low.

Snow up here, so still cobbling my stuff together…I need to close my eyes and just write the check, either DIY or buy never add it up.

What battery config y’all currently have in there? @Skyart

12s4p p42a

190kv motors, it’s possible I’m sure to get close to 30 miles on thane with that battery, but not in those hills and not the way Jason is gonna ride that board :joy:

Gotcha, yeah that’s what @surfnacho was running last time we rode. You’ll definitely need that parallel battery if you want to bring it for a group ride.

Yeah but he was running hoyt 5" with 3 underinflated (flat) tires.

12s4p on thane will last longer than my 18s4p on pneumies I bet. Jason won’t be going full tilt with us riding along anyway

True, guess I was unsure how it’d handle the hills.

For torque for that has a 12,000 mA hour battery but I have a SKB battery I’m assuming that’s comparable

I’m hoping he didn’t tell me something that won’t handle Hills that’s kind of all I do

It went up my steadfast driveway very easily. That’s all I did on it.

I wish I had the skateboard now I can get home faster on everything in my car. I’m 28 miles from James gonna take an hour and 55 minutes.

Here I am on thane, getting a bit over 30 miles from 18s4p.

Well, I haven’t read it yet, so who knows

Unencumbered it does 37 miles an hour who knows what I would do with my ass on it
