Yes, they did. We just have to get it together on our side now.
Make sure you keep that clean and it doesn’t get infected. That looks similar to my wife’s c-section scar that got infected, and the antibiotics they put her onto fight the infection led to her getting c-diff then sepsis and she almost died. Hope you recover quickly!
That’s what is be concerned about too. I don’t see how that can heal evenly, and basically the inside of your flesh is poking out and seems prime for infection. I’m certainly no expert, and I’m sure it’s not easy, but I feel like some doctors could do a better job with stitches.
I mean, personally I hate bandages and plasters, and if I have a choice, I leave it open to air so it can scab over.
this was the first surgery. All clean on one level with each other. I’m going to have a doc look over it again to judge it. Right know i don’t think it will heal evenly but rather have a big lump where it stands up.
Not a doctor, but the new one looks butchered compared to your first surgery. Maybe it was harder since your second cut is more into the fold of your hand, but that don’t look clean.
That sucks man, hope it heals alright.
Looks like a whole different stitching method. First one looks clean and stitched OVER the cut, while the second one looks stitched UNDER the cut. That don’t look right to me. I’d want to get that looked at and possibly redone if I were you. Especially since you have the previous stitching to compare it too. And this time around, it’s permanent however it heals. I wonder why they couldn’t just put some of that “skin” type tape over the cut to align the sides together and hold it in place, THEN stitch over the cut like your on first stitches. Hope you can get the doctors to fix that up or at least that it heals ok if you can’t.
Fuck doood!
Fetischkeller…
Whoever put that stitching in fucked you, like @Mobutusan said its supposed to go over the cut and not under. My girlfriend is a graduated med student and agreed it doesn’t look good. I hope it heals well and doesn’t look too bad in the end. If all goed well you’ll have a nice scar and a good story to tell. Take care!
