Show them bloody pictures [NSFW]

Muenster cast comes off in 3 hrs and 36 min. But who’s counting?! Seriously though, 117 degree days in Phoenix have made going outside in this thing unbearable. I cannot wait to get back on a skate. Probably going to need to rock a brace for a while though.

I just realized you are local a couple weeks ago and felt bad that I had not realized sooner. At the end of the month I am moving to California near Yosemite. I work in Tempe and have seen a few people on DIY boards but I don’t think any of them are active here. If you are interested, I can share some fun routes on the south side of South Mountain.

How puffed out is that blister? You sure it got cleaned well and there isn’t gravel stuck underneath?

yeah soap n watered that hoe. it didn’t open up (the top did but it’s a separate wound) and i assume is just bleeding like crazy internally from the shock/impact, so nothing got a chance to get under it. it’s hella puffed but i’m just gonna let it heal itself & not poke all the blood out.

i was setting a new push board up and didnt check for wheelbite. the wheel bit.

Do you wear gloves?

Yeah after I fell down the first time I got gloves

but frustratingly enough I’ve never fell while I had them on, and I put them on whenever I plan on going above 15 mph. 2nd time I hit a big ass crack I didn’t see, 3rd time I reopened the would playing volleyball, 4th time I was going 3mph with wheelbite.

I’m cool with it though, I assume the risks not wearing protective equipment at low speeds.

Stitches in the nose, 3 chipped teeth (one now capped), and lots of road rash. This was about 5 years ago when I went face first into a curb. Definitely riding with a full face helmet these days. Im still not breathing right through my nose but at least there was no concussion or worse.

Easy cruise down the forest track on slicks? Usually no probs.

Oh look some fine gravel…

Knock myself out and did the last bit of braking with my face.
Inb4 full face helmet. Aware.
