Should I buy a Onewheel Pint?

Just got another XR on Wednesday and I forgot how much fun these things are. I have had a pint and an XR in college a few years ago but sold them after I moved away. I met up with a friend who just picked up a pint X and 5 minutes in I was determined to get another one. Ended up finding this clean XR with 350 miles with a fender, hypercharger, Onetail extreme rear footpad, brand new FL Enduro, and bang bumpers for $650. Then went to FM and spent $120 on a brand new fender, car charger, charger plug, bumpers, rail guards for $120 since they have 60% off all XR stuff right now. For so little money, I’ll ride it until something breaks and then VESC it and build a new battery for it. Hopefully Floatwheel comes out with a full drop in XR VESC kit before that. Seems like they make quite a good product. All that to say, anybody that is considering getting one I highly recommend getting an XR if you are comfortable with VESCing it later on. This gives you so much freedom from Future motion repairs.

Hello. I have the XR with the JWXR battery. I keep getting the battery is out of temperature range error. I think the thermistor is causing the issue. Does anyone know what or where I can get a replacement thermistor to repair this battery?

Thank you.

I have a bunch of FM battery wiring harnesses. I bet someone local to you has a old dead ow batt?

also FM XR bms can be weird and throw errors for basically no reason, vesc took over with help from this fact.

Jwxr are built like shit and are pretty unsafe. It may be something else.

What do you suggest? Don’t waste time trying to fix it?

When I put the JWXR in, I put in a brand new harness and made extra care not to pinch any of the wires.

Just took apart the board. Could this be the problem?

If that bms somehow still balances fine you could make a VESC with it.

IDK how safe you feel with possible burn damage already on it.
