Should I buy a Onewheel Pint?

Was your original enduro out of round? Mine doesn’t look out of round, but it feels really bouncy. Even at 15psi, it kind of pogos up and down more than any other tire I’ve had.

It is night and day between the old one and the new one.

At higher speeds my Enduro felt bumpy.

This new one is total butter.

It’s weird because I’m at push back the whole time because you don’t notice going fast.

Was your old one visibly out of round?

Not yet. Been really busy with the shop.

Whatcha doin with the old enduro?

Just keeping it in case I need a backup. I would sure hate to go back to stock if I puncture my current one.

Finally sent my GT back to FM early last week. Turns out it was a faulty controller board. They replaced it under warranty and shipped it back on Sat. Good timing as I’m going camping in the desert this weekend and want to bring the GT.

I swapped back to stock treaded tire before shipping to FM. Might leave it on for awhile. The enduro feels weirdly bouncy (psi 15-19) over sidewalk/bike path expansion joints to me. the stock treaded is not great, but it does seem more predictable to me.

Interesting.
I think I have mine at 13 these days.
And I am still loving the second one.

Good job FM.
That is cool.

You think those caused the nosedives?

Also this mornings warm up was on the PX…

I don’t think I actually got on the GT today.
And that is a rare thing…

Likely was the controller board. Can’t think of another reason for the board to shut off at 17mph and again at 10 mph with 70ish percent battery on flat ground. I wasn’t accelerating hard or leaning heavy on the nose. No pushback in either instance.

You do any longer rides to test range on the enduro at that psi? I’m curious what the difference would be. I’ve done a couple 20+ mile rides on the stock tire at about 18-15psi, but nothing over 12 miles on the enduro.

Nope…
Still getting knee pain after 5 or so miles…
So no notable long rides on the GT.

The longest in recent time I bet was 7 miles…

Did you notice any stutters with your GT before the nose dives and then it dying.

Like the nose dropping a bit suddenly for a fraction of a second?

I feel like I have had a few of these.
And they are slight.

Not something super obvious.

I haven’t ridden a GT yet, but a couple XR’s. Current VESCXR wheel I finished is miles better then the original float wheel kit I built. Still need to test range on its little battery though.

Can I see some pics?

You don’t have a thread going do you?

I want a vescd XR someday…

I’ll send some pics when I get home. It has platysense footpads and a badger box/Torquebox for the battery
