I appreciate it Mario.
I’m gonna stick with the regular Hoosier because I really liked it.
summit had a decent price and I even got free shipping… After buying a life time supply of slime…
I gave up on Opening up my current tire because I noticed it has an obvious lump.
It’s a D20 and I expect I may have 400 miles on it maybe…

Haha! That video was from Saturday! Just went from the village to twin lakes. I did see two riders on e-mtb (one looked to be a Trampa). Went back on Sunday and rode all the way to Lake Mary. Absolutely gorgeous ride.

Lmao I may have seen you ride by lol I was on my Haero MTB, I didn’t see anyone else on an MTB but I saw a couple people on OW
I went around horseshoe lake, then to twin lakes, and all the way back into town - we caught the village shuttle to take us up

Bet it was us. The e-mtb riders I saw were crossing lake Mary rd around 10:30am. I hiked Rainbow falls on Friday and ran into some dude riding the trail on a Pint X.

Well.
Turns out I can get my GT to nosedive…

Man I hate to read this! Glad you were geared up and seem ok. But nosedives on a GT at 20mph…it’s like learning Santa isn’t real. I really wanted to believe the no nosedive (below low 20s) myth.
I have not nosedived my GT yet, but I’ve only hit 20mph a few times. My max is 20.1mph.

On a separate, but related topic, surfdado and @TheBoardGarage have convinced me to build a diy onewheel.

so, i am pretty sure i was not actually going 20 when i fell. probably around 13.
and there was a slight incline.
so I am guessing i leaned too far.
and my theory is that comes from my stance when i am accelerating on an Esk8 where i super lean forward.
but all good. what that did for me, is that i am not messing around in front of the house wihtout my helmet anymore… so something good came out of it.

you have to. To complete your collection.
I want to as well, but not in any kind of hurry… but I keep my eyes out for used Xr’s seems that is the motor to use.

Well I joined the GT nosedive club last night. The board cutout twice while I was riding home from dinner with my wife and kids.
The first cutout was at about 17mph on flat ground with little to no wind. Battery was about 75%.
Ate it pretty good, wearing shorts and t-shirt and helmet. Was lucky to only get some relatively minor road rash. Think my helmet is toast though, smacked the deck pretty hard.
Second cutout happened about 1/4 mile from home, board cutout going about 10mph and I was able to run it out. Probably at 70% battery.
Can’t think of any reason for these cutouts. I wasn’t low bat, wasn’t accelerating hard, not leaning forward aggressively.
Really sucks. Lost faith in this board and probably gonna need to send it back to FM. I’m days over the 6 month mark for battery warranty

Did you replace your original footpad with the recall?

Hopefully I can give a little insight on this. I had switched my footpad with the recall and had a few scary experiences where it didn’t sense I was on it and it dumped me. I ended up switching back to the og foot pad and haven’t had an accident since.
