Hopefully it will be, may not have battery in time but I can Jerry rig smth to work… Im using a littler focer v3 like @Evwan said, I’ve got a spare LFoc v1 as well just in case. Hyper core hub motor and everything, will be cool when it’s done, it’ll be the first time in awhile that I’m new to an EV, or at least need to re-learn. I’ve screwed around with some peoples XR’s here and there at events
I should add.
if I ride fakie it alleviates it.
this past week I have been trying to ride switch.
that also alleviates it.
but it really feels like when I first started riding…
i am pretty unsure of my footing and can’t even go up my driveway bump.
but on flat it is pretty fun.
I will give the parallel foot stance a try.
On a very positive note I got the 8 year old to try the Pint a little bit while holding my hands.
she did quite well and the sensors worked really well. ( it was a bit issue early on…)
Nice! I’ve yet to mount the fender for my GT because I like it better with no fender, but this is good happy medium.
Good for her. My 14yr old daughter is afraid to try
the first cut fender I saw was a GT and I thought it looked bad ass…
the big question today is can I get the 8 year old to try again…
she was hangry last night and got super frustrated the first time the Pint went sideways…
You could show her a vid of that 9 year old girl shibby EUC rider
that type of thing is actually part of the issue.
she sees the videos of kids riding and expects she will be immediately like them…
and gets super frustrated when it happens to actually be a challenge…
kids on these electric toys is such a neat thing to see because you get a glimpse of how next level it is all gonna get…
Stating the obvious here but your rear lights don’t appear to be working.
No shit sherlock
welp.
I ordered this rock thingamabobber…
now I am gonna go and order the slightly smaller one… lol.
Oh I never posted my update. Floatwheel works and is super powerful, but I nosedived day one lol. Owch.
you like riding it?
Yeah. This thing isn’t rideable here. I need something larger…
stoked…
That’s awesome! Need GT for father/daughter bonding time
I have the smaller one, but have been reluctant to use it since injuring my back two months ago. Busy week, so I missed my normal once per week onewheel commute. Still did about 20 miles.
A new GT firmware was released Friday and the board now feels even better. The GT mode “flow” feels really surfy, but still has lots of power, no idea how they do that, some kind of black magic.
I’m definitely selling the PX, but now I’m not sure how much I’ll ride the XR either. GT just feels much much better up hills. I can accelerate to catch a light without fear of nose diving in the middle of the road . That said, I’m a fairly strong guy (work out regularly), but I hate carrying the GT. It’s like carrying a 40lbs baby in a infant style car seat. So freakin awkward.
