My cousinās lovely soldering skills.
Pretty daring to call that āsolderingā. Super glue would have yielded better results.
Brain worms involved to go āthis is okayā
Reminds me of my first time ever soldering, before I learned how, or what solder to use, and using a shit $10 iron.
Everyone starts somewhere I guess.
Wtf
Been bugging the guy to drop off his board for me to look at.
He just bought a new batt and ESC from @Skyart thst Iām installing. Iām shocked opening this thing up ![]()
Holy shit ![]()
Solder is hanging on by hopes and dreams alone.
Literally pulled those wires apart with just two fingers
At least he used the mr60 connector cap! Couldāve gone bad otherwise /s

Did he use a lighter?
Lmao.
Sent him a picture and he was like āitās not terrible, held together fineā⦠yikes

true
Soldering with a lighter is easily 10x better than that lmao
So my engineers installed new fans on the pavilion at work. 12 of them.
First of all, they called in a service to install 12 ceiling fans. Our engineering department. Ok? Bad.
Next, the guy the called in was literally just a local homeless dude who took 3 days to put up 12 fans. Bad.
Hereās where it gets fun. My head engineer is working today. Side note: he is paid around $110,000 a year, and this is the hardest Iāve ever seen him work. He realized they did not wire the fans to the switches. He doesnāt know how. There are 12 remotes. One per fan. He doesnāt know how to pair them.
Ready? Are you sure?
He just gave me this āremoteā he made. Itās about 8x14. It took every single drop of my self control not to crack up laughing and start roasting him.
given the numbers, are they now paired or not? ![]()
One per fan. Just as he found them.
Now you got perfect local control, idk what youāre complaining about. ![]()
Now, I care about appearances less than anyone else involved in these events, and I will not be pulling this ghetto shit out during any kind of function.
Also all the remotes IR signal emitters face the center of the board.
There were at least 10 better solutions. Primarily putting all of the fans on a single channel, or preferably connecting them to the existing switches. I wouldāve taken attaching them to the back of the wooden fence.
But this is just laughable. ![]()
Worth mentioning, these are out door fans next to the beach, I never need less than all of them.
just buy one of those universal remote and store all the IR signal, u can have it for public use, or to urself.
i would keep it for myself tho
