I feel like that would have pulled the ceiling and desk into a spiral mess of cables and wood
It would have.
Find a shoebox to hide it in
I’ve been thinking a lot about the absolute shit-show that my first board was. Now I want to see what absolute monstrosities this community has come up with. I’ll start things off; this is the first battery I ever tried to build (and it was terrible). Somehow this pile of garbage managed to fuel my rides for hundreds of miles until I finally decided I needed to learn how to do it better. A miracle from the esk8 gods if you ask me!
This is just shitty diy and nothing else (Thread name)
there’s a vid of it now
A proof of concept to see how fast this hoverboard hub would push this bike. Cause doing math is for losers.
The answer is about 15mph, which is way too fast (for the future user, not for me). Also lacked traction due to the long arm and lack of weight.
But it works. Ordered a cheap aliexpress ebike controller with a pedal assist input for the final product. Now I just gotta make a little pusher trailer A frame where the middle bar of the A is a spring pulling the left bar of the A inward to ensure constant contact between road and tire. Hopefully it won’t look bad enough to warrant being in this thread.
before i saw this move i assumed it went the other direction
No offense, but that board fits this thread perfectly
That one has the proper Mad Max vibes
i like shitty looking builds for some reason
His first edition had bolts sticking out the wheels 30mm kegal pattern
That was mad max!
some reddit ‘toast’ this time, 10/10 for flame size and coloring
