*SCAM ALERT* neoONE S deck GB - $210. [Closed Now] (SERIOUS)

Also just to be clear, when Jeff told me that this was a hobby and didn’t want to loose money over it, I offered to let him list the deck and hold onto my money temporarily while it sold. But he didn’t want that.

That argument means nothing btw, and he doesn’t get to use it anymore. Once you take someone’s money it becomes business.

Exactly. This is a hobby for most of us, but we are still very serious about our money

I worry that maybe something is getting lost in traslation, hence my unsolicited post above.

Not my responsibility to sell it. The replacement deck for me isn’t even supposed to exist. If I had one of your unbroken decks in my possession, then yes I would be responsible to sell it.

You don’t have to refund me. That’s what PayPal protection is for

We already make more deck with first batch so can covering warranty. You original ask for replace and send deck for me. You just want make fight and no willing for be reasonable.

I already provide all information for PayPal.

I need go keep my family safe from virus.

Once again it’s not what I originally asked for. It’s what we finally agreed upon, that being a replacement deck in this model wasn’t to be made for me.

If only I was allowed to post our pms here, it would be clear how reasonable I was trying to be

Unnecessary, and shows some of your character

I hate it when people try to use this kind of thing

I think to iterate (correct me if i’m wrong.)

  1. Chase bought the neoONE S Deck, and received a damaged product. He returned it to have it replaced with the same neoONE S Deck.

  2. Chase changed his mind (1st time) and wanted to get the shorter deck (not in production yet). Jeff was agreeable to this.

  3. Chase changed his mind (2nd time) and opted for a refund. Jeff rejected this refund, reason being that the neoONE S replacement deck was already in production, which was not what Chase and Jeff had agreed upon previously.

Did I get this right? If this is factual, i’d say a refund is acceptable because Jeff was wrong for 2 reasons:

  1. Jeff was not supposed to manufacture a replacement neoONE S deck.
  2. Chase received a defective product through no fault of his own.

However, @Chase, as Jeff is not as proficient in English as you are, I’d say there might be some miscommunication going on here. He might have mistook the “shorter deck” that you wanted as a replacement neoONE S deck.

Kinda hate to say this because I still have an amount of money tied up in esk8 because of forum related bullshit…

But, if you already have a PayPal case going - I think at this point you should just leave things at this @Chase

There’s been enough discussion here for people to be able to make their own judgements about Jeff at this point. His day of true judgement should come when neoBOX’s are distributed. Also, in all honesty, the fact he’s responding to you right now is surprising. As foreign as it may be to some of us, and we can think whatever we want about it - during CNY, Chinese vendors will typically completely fuck off until it’s over. I’m surprised he’s not doing the same. Like, flat out, business just kinda completely comes to a halt. That’s their normal.

@jeffwuneo , I advise you to come back and deal with things once CNY is over. It’s okay to step away for the holiday. Your work days are probably something a good amount of Americans or other more well off countries couldn’t imagine.

Yeap, not to mention the virus plaguing their country right now.

Thank you for summing things up so clearly. It possible that it was misunderstood, but that still makes it his responsibility. He also clarified in above posts that he did understand I wanted to wait for another model.

Btw you may want to remove the screenshot, I was already made remove it earlier because it’s from pms.

Agreed.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday @jeffwuneo and look after your family.

For @jeffwuneo its still the same groupbuy and to be honest I’m with him on this. Your money went in the first board you received, was sent back then bound to the not yet made deck, like a promise. For him it already was a negative outcome so your full refund is not a nice move, not even considering the possible consequences it could have on Jeffs PP (remember MOV-E)

That kind of ignores the fact that we agreed that a replacement wouldn’t be made. If that were the case he should have just said it when I asked, rather than agreeing that I would not receive a replacement.

Edited for a less crude analogy,(sorry I sometimes forget ladies may be present).

If it’s February and we agree to race come April, but then in March we call it off, what am I to follow come April? Do I show up to race saying we had agreed to at one point?

But either way thank you for your comment. I’m not trying to come off as aggressive. I know that when 10 people read a scenario like this there will be arguments for both sides.

Don’t forget it was a groupbuy, I know there are no written rules for that but its not like a regular shopping experience

Then maybe he should say no refund but as per our most recent agreement the money will be reserved for the upcoming model. But instead it’s no refund because your getting this model…even though we agreed differently.
