It’s not entirely up to Jeff and his factory. Potentially a bad batch of fets could make its way into the group and nobody would know yet. A lot of variables. Field testing is needed still.

We provide warranty for all product we selling. If having issue cause by manufacture problem we replace no question.

We have been test these for some month and neoBOX 4 is identical to focbox but made with higher tolerance and non eol component. NeoBOX 6 is many improvement and with VESC 6 3 shunt design. Is also stable design.

We are very confident for what we providing for our friends. We have many years producing parts for vehicle and have strict QC process.

This not our only testing. We use our test dyno can simulate load and environment and we also have friend who test ride every day with many km.

It’s a bit off topic but 12s in one chemistry is not always the same for another. Speed is determined by total voltage of the battery. If you want to run at 50v just make a 12s liion pack haha.

That is good to hear.
Does the test dyno also simulate regenerative braking?

Yes. it can simulate incline and decline and weight of rider also.

What happened to this? Is the idea of a warranty scrapped or are there still plans for one?

It’s SIX posts above. #1632.

Oh sorry, not sure how I missed that.

LiFePO4 is usually 3.65V / cell at full charge.

I use 12S a lot and it’s 43.8V

I’m on A123. 3.3v nominal, 3.6v full. It actually drops to 3.3v under load pretty quickly, and kind of stays there.

Smartbms. Focbox.

@deucesdown @b264 are these limits self imposed to extend life or recommended by manufacturer spec?

Good to know, thanks.

Imagine doing 20 hour shifts test riding a board around a factory.
