this is to be able to mount the ESC to a plate and then connect the plate to a deck, you will never see these holes because they are on the bottom of the unit. These holes on the FOCBOX only go partially into the aluminium they are not used to mount the PCB
I do something similar to BKB and those holes are super useful
Truth, However it’s only funny until you have to pay me 72$ just to “look” at pictures of your wrist and ankle MRIs.

Is that large hole on the side of the case for all the wires (canbus, sensors, receiver, Uart/metr) ?
Don’t change it, but you should see some of our builds here. We have wires everywhere.
I see, if that big hole is for all the wires to come out, and has enough space for it to wire out without much strangle, it should be good. But as @Arzamenable mentioned, some builds may have a ton of connections and hence more wires.
I only hook up hall sensors and occasionally a BT module. 
It have one hole on each side. So can feeding cable.
Should save just a few bucks. Shipping would be twice though.

Ems is most expensive shipping option. When we send, our forwarder choose for best option for each country.
