Ok I try.
I will take 2!
I will take 3
i am curious as well. 69 dollar for kinda Focbox sounds great.
Have to think about it.
As hard on electronics as I am, I’d like a couple of
The new 6… version!
Just to recap for everybody who didn’t follow the whole story:
You are gonna doing 3 different ESCs
- Focbox based on VESC4 1:1 clone for 69$
- Neobox based on VESC6 improved version for 119$
- Your own engineered 20S ESC for 149$-199$?
My question: Is it not more cost efficient to design all these ESCs as a dual version?
Let’s say Unity 1:1 clone for 119$ and an improved version for 199$?
Also your 20S version for let’s say 349$-399$, or whatever the costs will be for this monster.
@Chricious more cost efficient maybe but 2 single esc are more reliable than one dual and if you fry one somehow you still got the good one left.
just my 2 cent opinion.
peace.
No is not because it require many work to change for dual hardware. We already make design for 6 hardware and reverse engineer original pcb.
For our own ESC it already for two motor.
@City-Blade-101 You are right, but not if Jeff builds them
So there will be no Unity clone or an improved version of it?
Du you have an roughly estimated price of your 20S dual ESC?
Not yet.
you put a serious amount of trust in him. Hopefully you are right.
I don’t know any of his products, but I like him as a person and I share his philosophical ideology. Farther I highly respect his work attitude an his community engagement. If his products can keep up with his personality, what I’m convinced of, he definitely will gain my trust.
@BillGordon did you send over a 1.7 focbox?
If not,.the one thing I would change is the canbus chip, to the one that doesn’t blow itself up.
It was 1.6, but we fix this already.
Dein Wort in Gottes Ohr.
Thanks for the recap, much needed. Is there an ETA on any of the 3?
also calling @b264 Can you get us upto speed for the newer folks who never used the OG focbox. Anything we should be aware of?
