Hm this brings to mind a new wrinkle. Unlike most ESC, for on-the-road fixes, will need a tool to open this box up. Phillips might be the winner here instead of yet-another-tool.

Why? take the screws out and electrical tape the two halves together.
Also what are you on the road fixing inside the ESC? you bring st link and air solder station with you? lol

I ran retection on everything, wired it all up.
I forgot to put my vesc wires through the enclosure.
Time to undo everything

Looks like the stormcoree will have a mounted xt connector. I’m actually a bit fan of this idea. If all commectors were like this we just run longer motor leads. Also if you still want to do it like it is currently, nobody is stopping you from making a short extension.
