What is the durometer of that urethane?
Its not urethane its rubber. Same type as motorcycle tyres. 70A for the hard compound.
Gotcha. How much do those weigh?
750g but the core is over engineered so I think we can get it under 700 for production.
How do they feel vs the v1ās?
V4 turn better and more stable. Not as immediately responsive but much less sidewall flex so very good road feel and probably similar if not more grip on the hard compound which was a pleasant surprise. Yet to test the softs.
Sounds like a winner. I think that flex was the only thing that let down those near perfect v1ās
Yeah definitely. The V4 is my new favorite wheel but Iām most excited for V5 which is a foam core design but there is no development budget for it at the moment so probably a next year thing. Lots of stuff in the pipeline just all hinges on selling Mach1ās to have the budget to do this stuff.
So the v5 are set for next year or the v4 as well as v5?
V4 this year V5 next year
I see. Do you know approximately the timeframe of the v4?
