Stop right now or I’m going to buy stupid things today. 3d printed mounts and deck would be fine at this scale.
@sender how much to skin a tech deck?
Looking slick Michael!
You could use a linear actuator to shift a weight to turn
Whelp Eskate fam, I guess I better start a build thread for my femto, pico, … or μskate build.
Holy Fuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!
What are you saying !? Hope not on pneumie …
If they fail, I will never buy any other new esk8 related products, except (elec stuff, and) if they’re designed by myself …
Plus, I have share the solution like before summer on the pic thread … :
Ao I have a 10s4p 22r pack and a 10s4p 30q pack. I could essentially connect thise in parallel as long as they are charged to the same voltage?
@moon, @Riako
The upper recess effectively reduces the moment of inertia there, and adds stress concentration in high bending area.
That said, of course increasing the thickness helps.
And of course using pneumatics helps because is reduces the dynamic stresses
What wheels are you runing?, I bet board looks amazing this way right?
Look like TB110 to me. Reminds me of a long monster truck lol
So I’m seeing low-rise trucks that are wider and machined from forged alu, what grade?
Maybe, but that’s getting a little too far into the range of packs-are-too-different-to-share-current-nicely territory for my liking.
If you do try it, I would strongly recommend using a DC clamp ammeter to measure the current being supplied by each pack before assuming everything is hunky-dory.
Arctic Ghost wheels!?
Back to black.
Are they still translucent still?
Couldn’t you have just waited a few months for TB to release the super soft ones in black as well?
