Wow I didnāt see your thread. Very nice. I gave up covering the edges, my deck has some angles I did not manage to cover correctly. Anyways I am trying to figure out how to have a nice separation line between the skin and the wood edges.
I used a straight and a rounded file to get the perfect edges.
I think this video will help. shows you exactly how i make my decks step by step and how to get a nice separation line. (not my video)
I hope it helps its how i learned to skin
Thanks again I will watch
Here is my progress so far
Oh I see the file trick just like with grip tape
exactly
looks really good man going to come out badass!
Our school had a rack in the office we were required to put them in. It was a massive steel monstrosity made by the welding class. You could lock a board up though.
Thatās my āpoor manās Kaly 0.2ā
CF was mainly to hold and reinforce the plywood gas pedals I glued in place. Andā¦ well it looks badass too so all good.
Holy fuck, electrified pickle Rick!! Needs a Bluetooth speaker playing Get Schwifty.
Nothing a few cervezas canāt fix.
ā¦ well maybe more than a few.
Who am I kidding? I have never been fussy just lucky
I honestly use it every time I step on any one of my boards at any speed. They all have some kinda foot stop on them. I find foot stops helpful from a muscle memory standpoint.

What did you use as a heat source?
The first lesson is free. The second one is going to cost you something you hold very dearly.
Would you like to take another swing?
Iāll sit down for it this time.
nice man! I like the fornt disc brake. Does it have 2 thottles? Which motors did you use? from which frame did you start? Basically please tell me everything matter about itā¦I am still deciding which motor to use, maybe 80100 is even too big nad can go with 8080 to save in width.
ok maybe 80100 is too much ahahahahah
Thatās a original GoPed Bigfoot after a few petrol upgrades. Once a removed the petrol motor I slapped on a @Boardnamics motor mount to the frame, it actually worked out really well. The motor used is a @dickyho 6374 170kv with 15/80 gearing. For the battery, I made a 12s3p split pack for either side of the frame to fit between the deck mounts. I had a TB4.12 laying around and it fit perfectly to the frame tube.
For the handle bar, the right side is the throttle and the left is a regen rear brake with a mechanical front disc brake. Tbh the dual brake is fantastic, I use regen brake mostly, but for the need of nimble scenarios, or oh shits, the front mech brake is perfect! It was a fun build, and now more of my friends can go on rides with me because of the handle bar.
Wtf are you doing Sean? I watch porn for like 9 hours of the day to get to these levels!
Wellā¦
