I see you have fire starting equipment and kindling for your bonfire.

It’s actually not all the quiver just the ones that I and my two friends brought with us in the car for holiday, plus some parts

If I could only keep one board it would 100% be the last one in the stack, the racer. Great handling, infinite power, unlimited grip. While still usable on bad terrain.

The other mountainboard while I loved it I have outgrown it and sold it to a friend.

The summerboard is super situational but on good asphalt I love taking it out for a rip.

Then there’s the purple street board, x+1 iteration of my first diy. Loved that thing back in the day, now not so much. But it’s also sold to a friend now.

Then the unlimited hummie build. It’s the perfect street board so long as I keep the ride to good quality asphalt. Really fun for long chill cruising and lower speed carving.

Then the exway x1, I enjoy taking that to the pump track, although for that purpose I could make a better board. Also pretty safe for getting home drunk from the pub occasionally.

Then there’s two decks, the tomiboi is mine if I can get to the 4wd swap during the holiday, the flux is my friend’s soon to be 4wd.

I can definitely come up with more usecases though to build more boards  Also building an offroad semi lightweight monster mountainboard soon

Are you about to change the deck?

You are such a criminal!!!

Yah it’s too much power for such a short wheelbase plus the extra wheelbase will make it more stable as well. Have to keep a wider stance to tame all the power. Also I wanna use a david racza haero deck for the offroader so it kinda works out. Gonna keep the wiring and pelican case intact on the haero and it’s one less thing to build out on the offroader. Just taking the drivetrain and battery off basically and making a new box.

You tell me hahaha

So are you going from the Haero to the TommiBoi?

Yep, and moving the haero to an offroad build that i’ll do around September - October

You’ve got a boosted rev too?! I just got one and it’s been great running at 18s. They are pretty fun with that much power and can get up to about 43mph. Bad news is that mine just bricked itself about a month ago because the 100D I was using died sadly. (Maybe because I had it jammed so tightly in with the batteries and the vibrations killed it? Idk) Anyway you probably went the right direction putting the controller on the outside. More room for batteries too!

What size 18s did you squeze in there?

18S3P I believe. Pretty tight fit, but without the controller you’ll have plenty of room. I kinda wish I would have cut out the metal on the sides that the motor wires are routed through. That way I could have fit a larger pack and just ran the wires on top. Not sure if that would weaken the frame a bit though.

Yeah i think i can fit 18s4p 18650 in there

Yeah you should be alright. I was using 21700s (p42a) btw

Wow haven’t seen those wheels used in a while. I should pull mine out. I remember the compound feeling so good

This was meant to be my rubbished board made with the spare parts i had lying around. Its turned into my favourite ride. The wheels are so smooth and the deck has tons of foot space that i feels like a surfboard

you gonna have it deliver you some food fpv style? :joy:

Dude

I’m so sorry that happened to you. Is everyone/everything alright? Just an FYI, the smoke and soot from a battery fire is extremely toxic. Be very careful with the cleanup process.

Any idea what happened?

What toxic chemicals are in the smoke and soot?

vaporous lithium and manganese maybe? but one of those is a “vitamin” and the other is used as a mood stabilizing medication
