Using a cheaper ā€œvacuumingā€ way with some clothing vacuum bags.
Not as effective as a Vacuum pump, but if you ā€œsuck pumpā€ every 10 minutes or so it will do the job.(better than hand laying)

Yeah! Except the screws arenā€™t long enough for geardrive

Did you like the dual color print haha I think it looks really nice

Yeah looks awesome! I wish I had a dual extruder.

The screws are designed to work with hex extenders for pulleys, but I think getting longer screws is a minor issue.

Ok, I love the idea of it, and I love goofy and complexes DIY solutions alltogether,
But this looks like so many potential failure points put together, Iā€™m not sure Iā€™d feel confortable ridding it

Is your Rim 3d printed?

Thatā€™s why I threw it into the DIWHY thread

See below haha - but yes I 3D printed it

Not quite - itā€™s the AMS on the Carbon X1

Thatā€™s an impressive machine, no wonder your prints look so fucking mint

I just received it two days ago and its amazing! How long does one hub and back take to print on your machine?

depends on the hubs, the y-type takes 10h at really fast printing and 14h with a quality finish.
