I just tried etching black anodised aluminum (old DAVEGA baseplate) and it apparently has enough power to do it, which is great news. I yet have to tweak the settings since Iām getting a weird zig-zag at the borders.

That enclosure did get awfully hot during the layup tho, i was running the gauntlet with fast curing times on a hot day, will trim it up today and see if it kicked my ass

Not yet. Itās intended to be an upgrade from the one I built for my son. The 8mm threaded rod on his bends under my 220lbs. So this wheel uses a 16mm threaded rod and pneumatic tires. Was going to use the XCELL tires but they arenāt selling outside of with their rimsā¦
Wasnāt sure if I could mill this wheel or not since I donāt have a lathe. But it seems to have turned out pretty good. Hopefully I can get the next three done over the next couple of weeks.
