FWIW, I have a set of the 74a 100mm TB wheels and 3D Servisas pulleys. I found them to be EXTREMELY tight compared to the cores on the 110s. Minimal pressure required to install them, but very tight tolerances when I tried to remove them. I was concerned they were stuck but I was able to very slowly apply pressure from opposite sides with a plastic tool and after about 10 minutes of micro rocking I got them free. Sorry for your loss.
How do you like your 100s? They are what is coming next.
I have not found a board that I really like them on yet. I think they would work well for a shorter narrower build. They seem too narrow for 220mm trucks. Personally I prefer the new Boas for the 100mm wheel size. The wider contact patch makes up for the firmer compound. I am curious to see what you think about the TB 100s. I thought they felt a little too bouncy on rough pavement.
Mine are to replace the Boas I thought were too hard… Going on 220s…
Sorry, I been meaning to respond to your pm
Had 12 hours to build a board before going to an isolated beach house for a month
Batterys and all.
I throughly the bearing seized on it and melted the way it looked.
It was just super duper tight to start with.
It was only ridden for 15 miles last night…
I put them on the TB 100s today and just had to stand on them…
On the boas I had to beat them in pretty hard.
But it did look and feel almost welded on.
Maybe from me beating the shit out of it trying to get it out…
What are your favorite 2? What are your least favorite 2?
Favorites are the TB 110s. Super plump.
And the blue Caguamas. Little but magical.
Least favorite is hard.
The Clouds. I wanted to love them. They kept breaking.
And I “recently” had an issue with the boas that left a bad taste in my mouth…
But also they slipped at times I did not want them to…
I also feel stupid about buying the boas because I did not realize they were associated with Jed Boards…
If I picked two from that lineup, I’d also pick the TB110 and the Caguamas
Niceeeee ! Those psychotiller?
Its a quick rig up to test out the
In order to get the most out of it and test in as little time as possible I jammed a big battery in it and top mounted the vesc. The wires are adapters I had lying around because I couldn’t be bothered to make new ones
That land cruiser! What a peach.
