We need a term that describes ā€œany of the lithium ion 4.2V chemistriesā€.

There already is one…Li-Ion
Folks have gone and made up their own categories, trying to separate out LFP and LiPo (LCO), but they’re just wrong. :slightly_smiling_face:

No, that technically includes LiFePO4 as you pointed out

I don’t understand nominal when fully charged it 50.4, not questioning, just don’t get it

It’s… weird and kinda mostly semantics but not exactly.

Given the fact it’s the battery management system, I just think the boldest and in your face voltage labeling you see, as the 48V in that pic is, should be the maximum (stable?) voltage that can be achieved.

Urrgh.

Petg. Finish looks trash cos the filament was wet

So nominal is just 3.7 X how many in series?

Much appreciated

And if I can add something relevant to the BMS labeling conversation, I was able to get Daly to print the proper full charge voltage on my latest batch of BMSs :metal:

It’s the best way, in my opinion, to avoid confusion.

not just the best way, its the correct way also :joy:

I just needed to tighten the belts and now I ended up having to recalibrate the whole printer… stupid z probe offsets and crap

Peak voltage supremacists #1

How much clearance is this?

Clearance is tightly coupled with wheelbase, so also what is the wheelbase  (axle to axle, or bolt to bolt)

What is it?
