TIL the difference in flathead and slotted head, good info
Total from both?
Btw, what size/kv motors?
Must be that. Maytech 6384 200kv
Do they really take 110A each? Wondering what i can bump my 63100ās atā¦
No way⦠Itās gotta only be pulling half that per motor. I was full throttling from a standstill and they were never too hot to hand touch. Iāve had them at 100A forever and bumped them to 110A today and it was a delightful kick!
Iām assuming the esc is rescaling the 10 more max amps to my throttle and thatās why it feels faster on acceleration when I didnāt hit that amp limit.
Perhaps @Lee_Wright or @ducktaperules could confirm or correct.
I meaaan⦠did you go full thottle from standstill/low speed any time recently? Just seems odd to set it that high if the power is never needed (not judging). Vesc indeed scales the total current on the throttle range in current mode. You would feel 5% more going half throttle in this situation
Yeah I only bumped it to get more take off oomph. I donāt think I could physically pull 100A from each side if I tried.
my guess would be that the value seen is a combined value for both motors.
That said it is defiantly possible to pull 100A each. I do it often on my 6384 flipsky motors. Never tried to go higher but i expect it would be very in efficient.
Fair enough. I should have added that Iām a weight weenie and that might be part of the lower amp draw required.
Gonna run some uphill takeoff tests and see how the amps pull in comparison. Thanks for the answer.
How much battery that hold? And does it nicely fit 16S 21700?
You can fit a 12S7P, 14S7P or even 16S7P 21700 if you mount the ESCs and BMS on top of the deck, you could even go crazy and mount 8P grups if you go with mesh layout but may need a thicker rubber gasket.
What about with everything inside the enclosure on the bottom?
Thanks! Iām using 1:3.44 (18/62) and 120a motor, 80a brakes. Feels dialed in for the short technical tracks we tend to run.
Oh that is great; you should put all those photos on your site!
Looks like 14S8P is about the max
Unless you have microscopic ESCs and BMS
It looks like a cartoon giant grabbed your leg
What happened?
Broke tibia and fibula falling off my backfire g3. I now have a titanium rod in my leg
Ouch dude. Good feels and fast heals.
Thanks buddy saddest part was I was gonna get the next flux motion board when the pre sale went live. Now Iām probably not skating for a yearā¦
