Dude.
flux with chambers?
More pictures pleaseā¦
Just need 4 motors, motor pulleys, and 70 more cells. Getting closer!
The mounts threw me offā¦
Isnāt that a sweet deckā¦
Its shaped concave on the side you stand on
It was heat moulded to the shape of the deck, you can see the clamps in one of the other pics. Just a little thing Iām trying really - might be shit but could also be good
I love the look of it anyway ^^ keep experimenting
Pics or it didnāt happen , what does it sound like? Angry metal bees?
Hmmm my better half made me to clean the mess one full day
Joking, it wasnāt that badā¦
The sound is wild I can tell you it made me even a bit scary
At low rpm it sounds like a tank, at high rpm just smooooth chain zoom zooooooom.
I donāt think so, as that says
and silicone is definitely not paintable. But thatās interesting anywayā¦
Is it soft and malleable after curing like neutral-cure silicone? Is it as easy to work on later if something needs service?
I think it stays pretty soft.
Not sure of itās suitability but it rang bell with it being so clear.
I used something super clear for some Damien Hirst tanks years ago but that was an acetoxyl stinking stuff that would most likely destroy electronics in a heartbeat.
Donāt even know what exactly we are talking about here , but you could paint Acrylic caulk and it has silicone in it as well. The stuff used to fill gaps between wood trims.
Does no one sand their layer lines?
It hurts that such a nicely finished piece of aluminum was mounted to this surface. Must be a sawtooth fit. Ideally should be printed mounting side to print bed.
I guess itās just a test piece
Totally fair. Iām nitpicking.
Iād be more worried about having a 3D printed piece in the hardware stack for the trucks, and also countersunk bolts really suck balls.
But I guess this is a prototype and the real piece will be aluminum and not use countersunk bolts
Itās just a prototype. Iām getting it CNC machined from aluminum.
The fit is not at all bad though.
Whatās wrong with cs? Need more than 12?
Have you tried the century 40 at speed? How stable is it? What truck degree are you using?
The Century is one of the most stable boards I have ever ridden. And itās an absolute joy to ride, very comfortable. Iāve maxed it out at 43mph with 50/30 degree split angle setup. Itās on Haggy precision trucks de-wedged with krank 93a.
The Evo is a 45/25 split on Randall 35Ā° plates with fat boy hangers/drives. Also extremely stable
