10 hours isn’t much for building a good battery.

The word ā€œgoodā€ is an important part of that sentence.

Get the 30mm X .3mm more current handling than the 50mm X .2mm.

30mm, 50mm it doesn’t matter it’s all sold out everywhere :sob:

Here you go.

Guaranteed to arrive within 3 years of ordering it. LoL.z

No seriously, it does eventually come after only like 4 months.

Buy a kilogram now so in 4 months you can sell it to someone else who needs it

Yep after thinking it through again

I put probably 3 hours into cutting and rounding nickel (200 pieces or so)
Another 2 hours into welding (first time so a bit slower)
2 hours into soldering (same thing as I’m still learning)
2 hours into balance leads and protecting pack (fishpaper etc…)
Probably another hour or two doing useless stuff like changing settings cutting wires and pulling on solder joints

Probably overall 12 hours or so

I am not patient enough for that. Not nearly lol

They should do a group buy
Group together to buy 10kg and then you can use a faster shipping service while costing not to much

That’s not a bad idea

Just pay someone to build the battery then for best results. Build the rest yourself.

It’s 74$ per kg
74x10 -10% (10% off if you order 10 pieces) = 675 (around)
Plus 150$ shipping (7-15 days)

825$ for 10kg or 82.5 shipped per person in 7-15 days

Forget a group buy. Just buy 10kg and wait for folks to need it, then sell it for more, but with fast & local shipping :+1:

Yeah but I don’t have 800$ to lay out in the first place
Someone should do it though

I bet if you spoke to these companies you could get like 30kg of assorted sizes for 1000$

I personally find it to be much more fun to skate to the post office and pick those up in-person and skate home with them in the wind holding them like an airplane wing having more fun than you can possibly imagine.
