Cool, I’m waiting on the rest of my parts to arrive. I’m going with the N.E.S.E system for my first battery.

@Halbj613 remember to measure all the cells individually, one by one, to make sure they have all a close voltage. this will eliminate forthcoming issues in the future

every cell tested

all p groups glued

all nickel cut to length and rounded to remove sharp edges
also got wider nickel in order to bend at 90 degrees for soldering

Let’s play a game of spot the unhardened aluminum!

^^ found some. Seriously, this guy is a con artist, he advises beginners to use cheaper VESC’s from his site and use the money on other parts.

Short story The Evo and the Samurai armor are painted, no photoshop on these pictures… Look it up on YouTube, it’s even more impressive in video!

Color linked above is Musou Black, there are two close competitors known as Vantablack vbx2 and Black 3.0 by Stuart something!

Hard part is finding a protective coating matte enough to make these colors usable outdoor and not just for decorative objects.

Challenging the resin and paint wizards here to find a way to make a flat matte top coat to use with these paints which absorb up to 99.4% of light!

@longhairedboy? @Sender?? Are there more skilled resin wizards nowadays around here btw?

yes, I do know of such blackness.

I would get an actual black hole on a deck but @Sender said not more space stuff :sleepy:

GREAT story behind this:

Hated my space stuff too :joy:

That’s a good backstory I’ve never read. Good share.

Interestingly and logically, since it reflects almost no light, that shit will get crazy hot under the paint. Probably no issue for a deck but an enclosure/motors might suffer.

Maybe its just a good idea for winter time, so good bye broken belts from snow and ice :grinning:

Man you know something is dark when it’s so dark it sticks out of the night shadows like a black hole :hole:

Imagine even wearing clothes of this shade full face helmet armor etc and go out at night, way to scare people hahaha

I know some people hate it but I like it hehe.
It needs to be scaled down imho so your center of gravity is lower.

How much did it cost in materials nfor all that carbon?

Dude is this you @PedroMcJimenez :star_struck:

:+1:, it’s the only thing I have left to keep up with local young bucks. You won’t catch me on a rail, but I’ll jump over them

I like how much it bothers my eyes.

There are some new golf balls that are this crazy matte neon red/pink. I find them while skating because they stick out like the vantablack does but in red. Wonder if I can photo it or not… Brb

These pulleys look like exact replicas of the torqueboards steel ones

Can’t find infrared boy. Did find out why the skeeball machine was ā€œbrokenā€

The yellow one in the top left has the same finish but doesn’t capture well on my cell phone. You just can’t see any of the dimples on the ball at all. It almost looks fuzzy.

Right? Widen that wheelbase and it could be fun.

I’m sadly feeling like we’re running out of space for the battery pack sizes we want and stupid scooters and less-stupid bikes/motors have plenty of space :unamused:

@eBoosted any plans to produce enclosures with 2 heatsink compatibility for 4wd builds?
