Iā€™d punch my wife in the mouth if she spent $500 on a whole outfit to include purse and shoes. And Iā€™m in the top 4% income percentile and live in the south. That shit is absurd.

Sheā€™s not my wife, make a great income and itā€™s her money. But I want to punch her too. She has three pairs of $700ish SANDALS she says ā€œitā€™s ONLY $700, so I should get all three colorsā€

With me there would definitely have ketchup or chocolate sauce on those pants in a week. Iā€™d buy a hundred shorts with that kinda money.

Given the wealth disparity in the US, I wouldnā€™t be surprised if the top 4% is only a few bucks more than the bottom 4% :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes unfortunately. Itā€™s gotta be a good test if it says ā€œnegative results do not rule out sars-cov-2 infectionā€

Also the current protocol is to test everybody twice in case they miss it in the first test. Thatā€™s why you got an IgG and an IgM test. They double test for the antibody and if youā€™re positive on 1 out of 2, they say you had it.

Also also, just read all those disclaimers at the bottom. ā€œResults from antibody testing should not be used as the sole basis to diagnose or excludeā€¦ā€

So basically theyā€™re saying you canā€™t trust our results, positive or negative :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

This is coming from someone who is currently developing extremely similar antibody tests to compete with the molecular testing method. I had covid antibodies on the way to my lab to knock out a test but when it hit pandemic level, we were no longer cleared to handle it.

Tldr: the only test I would trust is a molecular one

Quick update about my fused loop key. I just returned from a test ride. I have done this uphill run.

No fuse blew. So far so good.

@janpom I feel like it not blowing isnā€™t the best way to prove itā€™s a good design. You could try putting only 3 in parallel and then slowly up your vesc battery current values till they blow. Or if your battery can handle it, you should see when this current design will blow. It would be nice to know the limitations of those little fuses

The fuses are rated 10A each and according to the datasheet they should blow within a few seconds at 20A. Iā€™m running a 4P battery of 30Q cells. 30Q can do 40-50A when shorted so thatā€™s 160-200A for 4P. That should be plenty to blow the 6 fuses in case of a short circuit. Iā€™m not too worried it wouldnā€™t work in case of a short.

I was more concerned that it might blow prematurely and that doesnā€™t seem to happen.

I agree that going from 3 fuses and adding more once they blow would be a nice test though. I may try that one day.
