is that a balance connector on the right and just positive and negative on the left?
if so do you not have a bms in your enclosure?

This motor went to hell and back on a old build 
Running without a temp sensor more than a year until I added it, it was reaching 100°C+ all the time, probably more, that was the cutoff with the sensor and it reached it in no time, and the scratches, lets say it was close to the ground
