What’s going on with that and the two dozen wires coming out the side??

That’s one of the 3 packs from inside a Gotway Monster.

One of the FETs on the BMS evidently heats up that much during charging.

Waiting on someone to get a replacement BMS, at which point I’ll attempt to swap it.

Also, you don’t want to see what the rest of the pack looks like.

At my current weight…I doubt if I could jump off my board.

So…is that panel available as a printable file?

That is beautiful

This is incredibly well done. Having fucked with modifying an enclosure myself… this is a ton of work to make it look this good. Well done.

Except for the dope graphic and the extra bindings inserts, is there other changes from the previous batches ?

I agree, @Static did a very, very good job with that enclosure modification. That’s more difficult than it looks.

You can ask @Haeroboards or @ApexBoards , but the little I know is:

  • extra binding position
  • little more concave
  • adjustments to core materials (slightly lighter)
  • longer wheelbase
  • increase in price ($336 to US)

Hope they don’t mind me spreading the good news… I was just on the email list, I’m not special

Thanks, alignment was the trickiest thing, once you have that locked right everything else is a more forgiving process.

Of course the first gust of wind all day comes when I’m spraying the final coats. Plastic tarp ends up sticking to it and I have to clean the whole thing off with acetone like a madman. Was like that scene from Dumb and Dumberer with Harry in the bathroom

Don’t listen to that guy. He offers so much bad info.
The brake sensors along along with regen settings can be programmed without having to remove any wires.

Sure you can have it when design is finished and tested
