I use single trigger and thumbwheel remotes as well. Swapping between them has never been a problem. However, I am convinced that single trigger is the way to go for a powerful board, it allows finer control and smoother transitions.

Just put a VX4 on my mountainboard (which is setup for almost 1G) and I just couldn’t control it finely. Swapped it back to a GT2E. At least half the time I’d touch the brakes on the VX4 I almost got thrown off the front. That’s with the deadband at 2% in vesc tool and in the remote menu as well…

Not to mention that the natural way I operate a thumbwheel remote includes repositioning my thumb on the wheel every single time I change between acceleration and braking. I don’t mind them on low power stuff but it is not what I want for high power boards.

I feel like single trigger is better ergonomics.

Better for me to think less about where the trigger is.

I had a great hand position with the Mini.

I felt pretty good about the feel and control of the Z-motes.

I liked the feel and throw of the GT2B the best…

The GT2B in Tito’s shell really felt so natural to me.

If someone made something like the VX4 Pro in a trigger I would be throwing all my money at that.
