Radium R6 trucks & Thane belts

I still haven’t broken my first personal set of thane belts even after an hour of powersliding in gravel yesterday they’re still going strong.

Very glad to have solved that problem as I was getting a bit tired of destroying so many rubber ones!

R6 update:

All the parts have finished machining, tumbling, anodising, and laser etching.

Axles and kingpins have been heat treated.

Riptide bushings and other hardware has arrived.

Just waiting on the billet parts which should be here at the end of the coming week :crossed_fingers:

So running about a week behind. Cheers for the patience

First set of thane belts on both test boards still going… up to about 4 hours of power sliding and messing around in gravel and many more hours of hard riding putting +160A and -100A regen through each 14T pulley with puck remote setup to be as responsive as possible and torque vectoring putting huge stress through the belts every time we turn.

Previously was getting about 30 minutes out of a set of gates belts.

Belt anxiety completely gone!!

you could take the esk8 belt market for all esk8s if you could stock enough sizes. everyone’s always asking what belts to get… and people give random advice of belts that are all rebranded gates or worse than gates.

Yeah in time I agree, but IMO they’re being fairly reasonable about not buying too much stock and too many varieties before there’s a lot of testing and confirmed demand

Buuut I would love a set of shorter ones  Around 330mm, in case our requests are of any use

The ratio im getting (and still counting) is 4/1 with Rich-Lo on the other side. The only damage i can see on the radium belt is this

and this is afer daily gravel rides for over a month.

@Tony_Stark are they also possible in 20mm, would be interesting to see if i get more debris caught on wider belts.

We’re pretty keen to start getting more sizes made. We can’t allocate a huge amount of money to it so need to choose those sizes wisely…

Here is my list of more common ones so far:

295 evolve
330
350
380 (in stock)
405
415
435 (in stock)
470 (in stock)
470-20

I’d love to hear more suggestions and see which ones overlap the most!

255 and 275/280 for the lonesome prebuilt segment. I run 255 on my Hurricane, 32T pulley. 255 also happens to fit my Exway Wave with a 36T pulley.

There’s a big market in 260/255 for smaller thane boards. Many people have issues with belt durability on those.

460 for my dadbod

315 or 320 would be nice :upside_down_face:

Every 5mm increment between 250 and 500 :ok_hand:

If the claims are true I’d be willing to spend 2-3x as much on these belts

I’d only be willing to spend that much if they also had radium logos on them.

I’d pay 4x as much if they had the performacne text

If the belts are urethane, is it possible to make…COLORS?

Worth it just for the free roll smoothifying I reckon, but bombproof too. I’ve put them on my mtb and won’t go back. Five stars!
