Puck Puck Poast Pinky Hoyt Puck Shell

Introducing, the Puck Puck Poast Pinky
(aka the double PP)

I’ve been rocking Puck Puck Bruce shells for years. Lately however, they’ve been sliding down in my hands when on track.

I really like @poastoast’s Poastmote shell’s pinkie holder, but overall it was just a tad too large and boxy for me.

So I added a pinkie holder to the Puck Puck Bruce :tada:

I was feeling creative when I went to make my own shell. I printed it from black and blue two-color filament, then aggressively sanded for many many hours. The multiple colors gives a very nice peteina around the sides of the case, where the sanding breaks through a layer of filament.

I started at 80 grit and worked all the way to 7000. It took forever, but was totally worth it for how incredible it looks in the light.

Just PLA, no clearcoat or paint.

Looks beautiful! I wonder if vapor polishing would further it’s sexiness. Super easy to do.

Looks great

Can’t you just mirror the entire assembly about the parting line face to make a LH version?

Onshape be doing onshape things

Just in time for the puck 2

Ohh wait

Nvm guess not for the puck 2 ohh well lol🤣

No, unfortunately it wouldn’t be that simple because the puck electronics/internals aren’t mirrored on a lefty puck
