i dont have those special decks, wont it work vertically?
if you just mount it like an ordinary skate truck you will only be able to ride straight. spring trucks rely on the angle to be able to turn.

Looks like a 10-15° angle. For a completely flat deck it probably won’t be enough ( the less of an angle you have, the less you can turn) The deck on the pic already has an angle itself so it’s added.
Do those look like 30-35 degrees to you?
No lol you need much more angle and it shouldn’t be rubber

This is important and the same goes for any other soft material as it will leave room for the baseplate to wiggle and eventually break your screws.

I’m the wrong person for that lol.
I’m keeping my fat ass somewhat fit by walking several km with the doggo and cycling (especially when having to go into the city cause esk8 is still illegal) and in bad weather situations.
The only really muscular part of my body are still my calves due to riding everywhere and everyday before i discovered esk8 in 2016.
