I’ve tried geared hubs and direct drive hubs. Both performed like shit. Hell, even my big 5kg inrunner is a good 10mph off of what it should be with field weakening and all of the goodness.
All of this minus the flux and other AT board for700, somehow all of the Vescs in that pic are fried though

Looks like you struck good. Flux and Haero Bro decks are fantastic platforms for DIY. Luna trucks are good, 3 links apparently is great if you’re willing to learn how to work with it.

Glad someone on here was able to get a good deal on that. I talked to that person a while ago when they had everything listed for $1000, but then they said they were going to try to sell everything à la carte and wanted $800 just for the flux build, which has mismatched trucks, and I wasn’t too sure about the battery on.
I mostly wanted the Evo with the 3 links and Flux, and they decided they didn’t want to sell the Evo and wanted a way less good deal on the Flux than the initial listing would have been, so I gave up.

Sooooo much work! One day this is gonna be finished, and new skateboards will emerge from within.
I’ve decided to line the whole building with cheap plasterboard on clearance after this, and then there will be truss storage for lightweight stuff, above a bulkhead with cove lighting around the whole building. It’s gonna be epic.
