Thanks for the heads-up. Since I only need 2 small printed objects ill probably upload my files to pcbway and have them print it for me in asa or abs.

file

Made my own version of a speaker terminal that uses magnets for quick disconnect. I left both pla and petg in my car the last few days with the heat waves that we had in NY and pla was completely deformed

These were the inspiration but mine dont look as fancy but they will get the job done

Those cost around 150$ so im saving myself a lot of money by designing it myself.

Just fyi, im printing 2-300g objects over about 12hrs and 7-8 of them so i made the cardboard vent. If you’re just doing little stuff opening a window is probably fine if you’re not particularly sensitive to it. Also had to adjust my fan settings as the presets for asa only worked for small uncomplicated stuff. All Fan speed max worked at 10% best. GL

I lost a multi-tool and several years later randomly found it in one of the fields which was amazing.

The top half that was in the sun and bottom half that was in the soil are a different colour and there’s a cut in it from a tractor cutting the grass for hay.

I’m pretty sure the mounting pattern isn’t the standard pattern, early on in my build I had tried a pair of lacroix 6396s, and the mounting pattern didn’t work.

What kv are you wanting? I have some of my branded reached v5’s that I could let go for close to cost. They’re all 138kv tho.

I’m not sure, the 63100s are 190kv. Thanks for the offer though! I’ll definitely hit you up if the flipshits are actually cooked, still gotta test them out more when I get home from Australia.

Was randomly watching old Lacroix videos… not sure but maybe this helps… Sometimes it could be as easy as dirt and grime getting inside

Saw that but thought there was one issue or another with all of them.

What size are your 138kv v5s?

@Dnollie FYI your 63100s don’t have that big bearing in the base and it might be quite a bit harder to pull the can off than he makes it look like.

6385’s

Smaller than what I was looking for but might be perfect for @Dnollie . I would be very surprised if his motors are actually cooked though…

Yeah I’m out of the country right now but I still have to do some tests and use your guys advice to actually know the state of the motors, I didn’t really try anything yet.

Does anyone do tree work for a living?
Does this look like a4100$ tree to cut and haul, or am I smoking something?

Ok answer my first question only please.

I limbed it with a friking bill hook( fantastic tool)In 20 minutes. I’ll teather the top to the tree, cut it3/4 of the way and just use a cum along to pull it where I want it, why 4100$? My county will chip any thing up to 6ā€ free. What am I missing?
2 bids with in 200$ of each other. It’s my Sugga momma’s money, but still, too bad I don’t get 4100$ :triumph:

I don’t do tree work but had to remove a fucking forest from my lot. Took years but finally tree free.

That price seems right. Prices drop dramatically in the winter so if you can wait til November or so you’ll probably get quotes 30% cheaper or so.

They have to carry a lot of insurance, maintain expensive equipment and have a pretty dangerous job. It’s worth paying pros if something in the vacinity could get damaged. Took out power to half of my unincorporated town bringing down a 70 footer with a buddy. Was football Sunday and so many people on the street just walked out of their house with a pissed off look .

I’d diy that all day though if there’s nothing in the fall radius it could hit.

No there’s only the house, I’m sure it will be fine, what could go wrong

My last tree was quoted at about $2k to chop, so I hired a cherry picker and tried myself. The power line risk was too high to finish with my own inexperience, and I think it was $1100 for the remaining half to get cut down.

$4k might be reasonable, but if thats America money then I dunno. Those America dollars are expensive.

This video popped up after you all started talking about it… had to cut the video short due to size limitations
