How much range do you get on that thing?

Maybe a good 5 miles.

Will look into something like this… right now my board is laying on its side next to my pc desk.

I’m not sure what you mean exactly by rack, but some people use floor guitar stands like https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricSkateboarding/comments/7lgyy7/thanks_for_the_guitar_stand_tip_works_great/

This is in Manhattan

@Dnollie, WTF? No way these are failing on you already. They were practically new when I sent them to you. Only got rid of them because of a deal too good to pass up on some reachers. Also the fact that they both are giving you issues at the same time is a bit unusual (although it would be convenient if they always failed as a pair.) Please do what @Swol_Moon said and try spinning them ensuring that none of the phase wires are touching each other. Tape them up if you have to. Let me know how it goes either here or DM. I’ll get you riding again.

I used to stand my 30kg baja up against the wall

Printing these asap to give them a try! Thanks!!

They were for 10inch wheels so recommend if you have 8 inch to scale them to 80% etc…

Depending on your floor type you may need to print in a material that will grip or just add grip to the bottom of them to stop them from sliding away from the wall.

But yeah, they were a pretty simple solution that worked well for me

My Street boards are just on some cardboard to not indent the cheap pvc floor while leaning against the wall

My mtb was just on it’s wheels for the most time but recently i also put it against the wall with a long ass drill bit behind the wheels to not let it roll away.

Might give the board stand from Al a go!

@xsynatic

Scaled down to 81%. Originally started the print with a blue filament I used to make my kid a dragon but the ams was giving an overheating motor error so switch to a black filament that had moisture in it. Had around 2-3 hours into the print and didn’t want to start over. Will be buying a dryer this weekend and figuring out what the issue with the ams motor was.

Going to buy tape to make them grippy. Thanks again!

Can use the bed as a dryer maybe:

Set the aux and part fan to 30%

Set the bed to 70°c

In my case set the asa on the bed, added a vented box to help trap the heat better

Wait.

I wish I had the same patience :joy::joy: I sometimes get a random idea for a print and having a dedicated dryer would be easier to use while printing.

I was reading that asa doesn’t smell as bad as abs, is that true? I need to print something in asa but I’ve been putting it off

One of those tiny pieces of carpet for in front of the toilet works great for this.

17" x 24" Feather Grey

How’s the fitment with 8" wheels? (Assuming you have 'em?

Fitment is good but I have to wait til later to put the full weight of the board to see how they will work.

It absolutely smells as bad, vent it 100%. Bad fumes.

I made a cardboardium alloy vent (paper Mâché) and used a super weak little 5v fan to keep the printer in slightly negative pressure. Pushing the fumes out a window.

With the junk i had around i also made 4 dry boxes i can print from for asa and tpu. So far its working really well. Maybe $20 for four but i had a bunch of old 608 bearings around.
