I took a job as a construction supervisor with a concreting company at the start of the year and it’s a pretty busy job. No downtime during the day, often 10hr days, early starts etc… pay and conditions are great so it’s worth it, plus I enjoy it and our team and crews are great which makes a huge impact.

Outside of that I’ve just been hanging out with the fan and the doggos. Haven’t made much progress on the van, but I’ll get it finished over the Christmas break. If not finished, at least liveable. Been living in a shed/on the couch at Jess’s all year and I’m kind of over it :joy:

Jess and Zari got a new pup, pretty cute and well behaved for a little tacker, they’ve been doing a great job training it.

Haven’t been skating much at all, would like to, just haven’t made the time for it.

How bout you? All well across the pond?

Same same, working too much, not skating enough. Grabbed an emoto to make the trip to work and back more fun and scratch the itch. No complaints overall though except for the weather getting colder and the daylight getting shorter.

It’s the opposite here  although daylight savings really fucks things up for me now. I try to be in bed by 9pm and at the height of summer it doesn’t get dark til like 10 :joy: whoever invented daylight savings was a dick.

Hey @Ash @Tasventouras and anybody else who has tried the linnpower quick release hubs:
Can you describe a bit more about them?

Can you change an inner tube/tire without tools or with fewer tools? I don’t think I fully understand the features they’re advertising.

The heart of my question is, are these a trustworthy and easy option for my partner who accidentally cross threaded 2 of 5 locknuts when they last changed an inner tube on their current hubba hubs

Lmao @ when you thank someone and you’re being sincere, but then they thank you back and it sounds exasperated

wanted to get my friend a retro console for christmas but cash has been tight. i found an old nvidia860m had plenty of power for a dedicated retroarch build so i just 3d printed him a shell and upcycled the board in this way

Nice work.

I’ve spent a little time lately trying to get familiar with that freecad when I’m stuck in motels. Bought a printer six months ago but haven’t used it yet.

I was thinking of using the printer to help create shapes for making a mould for the next board, but I keep accidentally buying cheap evolve GT’s and building them up 12S8P with the mould I already made for rebuilding those decks.

How long have you been using freecad?

almost one year now. recently they launched version 1.0 :tada:

I first started withh Jeffcad. hes straight to the point with the tutorial shapes. im beginning to get into solidworks and there are many similarities.
