Sorry not sorry, euc are the rollerblades of my youth. You just can’t look as cool on a scooter or euc as you can on an eskate carving hard and touching the ground as you leave a trail of sparks from your fancy slide pucks with flints. It’s probably just me that thinks i look cool and whatever blah blah im glad people are getting out on their scoot or euc or suron but not for me. Skaten has favorites

Most expensive hobby I’ve ever had is eskate. I told the wife it could be boating so we made out ok🤣 it’s cheaper if i keep all my magic smoke in but I haven’t mastered that yet so i have to drum up secondary income streams… like dancing for nickels.

Waves and winds seem plenty for water sports, if the water doesn’t have either of those there is always fishing. I know ekate is niche but efoil is some kinky three people per state kinda stuff. I can’t imagine custom parts for that being affordable

Yes, I got hit by a car, but I’m fine aside from minor bruises and a burned pinky 
my board is un harmed too. The guy pulled out both without looking both ways and also when there wasn’t even any space to turn right. (as in other cars were coming and blocking the lane)
My glove marked up his hood and I might have dented the front bumper? it looked like it might have been like that before, but either way his car got more damaged then I was injured. 
if I had gotten hurt a bit more or my board was damaged I would have 100% asked for compensation in return for not calling the police

Glad you walked away from it. Drivers not looking has to almost be the preset. Had a number of incidents with drivers not looking… clear daylight doesn’t seem to help

That is why I always look to see if the driver even can pull out or not first if I don’t know if they saw me or not. Usually it prevents being hit but I guess there are some people who really want to be t boned?
If they see me and back up to let me by then I just go without caring if the car could pull out or not though
Good to hear you’re relatively injury free.
I’ve had a few close calls, and generally assume every driver has no idea I’m there. It’s dangerous out there.

I’m not even sore now so I’m pretty much in the clear in terms of injuries. My hand was hurting a bit earlier but they do that when it is cold out so it was probably just from being cold when outside. (the batteries for my heated gloves weren’t charged)
That is what I do too but I guess I now need to assume that they will also do dumb shit that risks hitting other cars and a hospital trip for the driver 
You didn’t scratch the helmet did you? If we get a hit by car badge, well ,I want 6, if it’s esk8 only then I’ll take 2 . I wear a bright red areostich suit and can’t count how many near miss badges I’d have by now. Be careful,I m am home stuck on the couch and I hate it.
