TLDR : DON’T USE YOUR REMOTE NEAR A MAGNETIC WALLET OR MAGNET IN GENERAL because it can cause random acceleration on your throttle and your board may shoot forward.

The guy tested it with two different remotes and two different boards, same behavior. Ride safe !

that’s the difference between a potentiometer remote and a hall sensor remote

hall sensor is affected by magnetic field, therefore the reader would mistaken it as values and sent the signal to the esc

The one i bought from amazon was always sticky, even after laying on the dirty floor for 3 days it was stickier that the brand new one.
