Yeah matrix ii have had threaded baseplates for a good while now. I do like the easier installation, but it makes using wedges a little more of a process.

anyone around here tried both the vanguard flex 1 & 2? how much difference is there? is the flex 1 still pretty flexy?
not sure which way to go… I weigh about 200lbs, and I’m going to be using the new 12s4p eboosted enclosure coming out soon, which i assume is gonna be a bit beefy, which makes me hesitant to go with the flex 2. any thoughts are appreciated!
I have a flex 3 vanguard and that thing is a trampoline at 160lbs. At 200 my guess is flex 1 is a safe bet, but I haven’t ever tried the flex 1 or 2. You’ll also be hitting it with another 20ish lbs of batteries and components, so total weight will be a little higher.

I have a flex 2 Vanguard on my evolve and that’s a trampoline at 180lbs

Are you doing a loaded vanguard build? My brother in law was a diehard Boosted guy and all of his tiny shitty batteries are now toast. I’d like to do a vanguard build for him but don’t see many of them on here.
