Loads of great info in here. Huge thanks. Some solid stretches of hard riding will help a lot.
Best I can do is a track a short ride away that’s perfect smooth asphalt except for elevation changes and lightly banked corners, oh well /s
The solution was using almost the softest bushings on the inside position but with an awful lot of preload. I haven’t gone really fast yet because it takes so so little force to turn rn it scares me but I have had no signs of speed wobbles and the turning is better than I thought possible so I think I will manage.
I was so sure I was doing something wrong with such weak turning and speed wobbles at 20mph. I think you’re definitely on to something here.
Bog Roosh is amazing, everything justttt about fits in a turn and how loose you can manage is something else
edit: I was also thinking about motorcycle steering dampers like etoxx and heath lewis used. It’s not like a shock absorber it wouldn’t limit steering just slow it down enough to resist oscillations at speed. The slow and delayed steering response wouldn’t be great, but maybe worth it if I can use a very loose setup and go much faster.
