Great write up, and it was an absolute pleasure to have you around. The DIY world is way more bonkers than I had imagined before the event, so thank you for posting this pics. Are you ok to share them in the Google drive that has been set up for this event?

hey, who is this guy on the french forum ?
Honestly I wish all remotes had replaceable batteries. Would rather have spare Eneloops than a spare remote in my backpack.

The maytech r2v2 remote charges wirelessly. I charged it in Colorado at the track with my Samsung s10+ and felt like a tech wizard
Doesn’t help if phone is dead though…

I agree, would prefer some replaceable batteries.
It’s not fun when your remote dies and you have no way to charge it aaaaand your board has loads of juice left over

All this can be solved with a USB port?
Putting in a voltage regulating circuit and USB port, I have thought about it
My Chinese prebuilt had it so I imagined it was useful. Was already planning on a bunch of LEDs and el wires. Simply replanned my board accordingly.
Donno, it’s Antonin Bouyeure on the esk8-fr fb group, he’s on the builders forum.
Beautiful boards and a great guy - was really happy you came and it was a pleasure to meet you!
