yeah I am confused as to how your feet would fit in this properly lol

Unless he rides regular I suppose

What have we got here boys? It’s a drill battery board with bindings that won’t work in colours that offend my senses.

You might think I’m being nasty but quite the opposite, this is the definition of diy. He did it for himself, no matter how awful it is.

Easier to get off the board incase emergency

I believe an mbs core 94 or a colt 90

Yes i ride reg. Feels great for me

Haha bindings work just the way i need them to. Thanks for the hate. I love the colors its like a joker theme. To each their own i think its bad ass Lol. What do have against using drill batteries. Looks unique and real men love the power tool look.

I agree. Just a heads up, matrix 2 trucks are meant for a deck with a 30° nose and tail. Core 94 and colt 90 have 20° angles. I’m currently running the matrix 2 on a colt 90 and turning is sub par. Looking to upgrade decks asap. Be careful!

Mmm I said it wrong, it makes way less sense if you ride regular. Why put the bindings backwards? Surely they would work better if they were mounted the way they were designed to be used

The way you have them, your feet only touch one edge of the binding rather than the whole surface

I have them placed correctly so it covers my foot maybe you cant see the slant. But they work

The bindings help turn it great

Bindings don’t help turn radius…

You can lean, force the lean harder with bindings than you can without. imo that helps turning radius.

True but they help me stabilize when i turn. Also for a big guy i get the tail to slid pretty easily so turning hasn’t been a problem so far plus it has reverse so that works out well

That’s completely besides the point.
We’re talking about a Emtb. Bindings are a given.
@Venom121212 was simply stating that the trucks and deck were meant for different angles thus hindering turning radius.

Thanks for sharing, @Kingdom421! That’s certainly a different approach to take and it’s always nice to see something a bit different for the usual.
I was also tempted to try my Freebord bindings that way around as well. Interesting to see that it’s working for someone.
Keep on rocking, man. Nothing beats the satisfaction of building something new then shredding the shit out of it. Looking FWD to seeing the videos!

Yeah I agree but I’m at the point where I’m lifting my toes off the board on heelside turns. That didn’t happen on @J0ker’s board which had the same bindings, trucks, shock blocks, but a 30° tipped deck.

If it’s working for you cool, be careful at high speed with weird wobbles. The blocks aren’t angled the right way to respond the way they are meant to and I’ve caught a few weird wobbles. Overall I love the trucks.
