"Nothing Fancy", A Tito Duality truck build

Great build Tucker. Those trucks look very well optimized for track use. Might need to try em out for a build I have in mind.

Don’t want to hijack this thread, but will toss this out here. (@fessyfoo) oil embedded bronze sleeve bearings solve the slop issue entirely. Those + the softer riptide bushings are must needed upgrades

Awesome!
-I am sold on your truck choice.
-thanks for the spec on the balance lead wire and cable ties. Fan of cross pollination from disciplines that also balance “send it” and “devil is in the details”.

-where is the ending? I have two in the cart for my bid to join the Blem deck Nazaré Posse.

Blue locktighted the two rear nuts on last night(The fronts engage the nylock). @fessyfoo saved my day today. He had a replacement bearing and nut on hand and got them to me this morning at track. Gave me a full day out at the dam racing it on track, recharge at lunch(20s8A charger doing wonders), then a full afternoon cruising around a local park.

@HAIRYMANJACK taking a couple laps

Travis Wong(who I don’t think is on the forum), normally rides a TKP Tynee Explorer with a custom bushing setup. Pretty sure he raced at Esk8con in sportsman class.
He tried out my board, and was faster and more confident around the track within a single lap. Magic Trucks.

@Ruxx Doing some grass riding.

@MarioChacon Making my board look better then I can :rofl:

I probably rode 25 miles today, but the board probably did 35 from so many people trying it :rofl:
(nothing but positives, your trucks are incredible @Titoxd1000 )

Track efficiency was still around 50~60 Wh/mi. More casual (but still sendy) park riding was averaging around ~40 Wh/mi.

There was a good amount of grass riding in there though, so actual group ride efficiency is probably closer to 30 Wh/mi(?)

Regardless, that gives me a comfortable 30 miles of range, perfect for group rides.
Requirement :white_check_mark:

Love this board dude. I’ll be racing it at Electrify Expo Long Beach in Mod Class, where the NOVA tires are really going to shine. Afterwards, I’m so excited for CarveSEA :checkered_flag:

anyone tried a thin nyloc half nut such as these?

That would probably be great for Tucker’s situation. I have considered it for my situation on Mistfall, but it wont work because of the way the boardnamics wheels are disgned :melting_face:

Looks like those nuts are the same size that I’ve got

These other ones looked thin as well, maybe you can source some locally?

Nothing fancy next to the board that started it all.

I thought I had achieved perfection, but then I tried out @Titoxd1000 new bushing setup last night at track.

I swapped out my front chubby bushings for tall barrels right there.

I couldn’t get off track. I was so distracted, I didn’t even get any practice on my Stooge (for EE long beach this weekend) before we got kicked out.

Went on a short group ride afterward. I’m in love.

Never been a high speed carver, but I was carving at 30mph without any stability issues. I feel the magic of esk8- more then I have in months.

Group ride averaging 38Wh/mile. Oh well.
Should do a proper range test at some point.

Yeah im running 16s 205kv and needed to do motor detection manually and change a few figures for it to play nice at full throttle. I really must go in and check those figures because i forgot what @poastoast entered for me when he did it.

Interesting. Would be curious what those are.

Haven’t run into issues yet, but I haven’t been fast then 35mph probably? so like 60% top speed.
