No problem. I didn’t realize that redz shipped bearing without spacers. So ended up having to look for those

36/16 gearing
320 belts currently but I need to motor to sit as far back as possible as show in the photo, what belt length would be a good estimate to get this fitment

Most use regular 608-2RS skate bearings but some use 6900 (Evolve) or 628 (@dickyho) bearings. The 628 are better bearings because the balls are bigger.

Didnt realize that was your post. I saw this earlier and used it to check if I had everything with my build at DIYboards but now I guess I’m scratching that and starting over haha. Its a good guide. Thanks

Is it safe to run VESC 4.12 in a 4s battery configuration?

I’ve seen the thread on how to make a loop key so I understand that part but how do you do it with a unity if you remove the switch does it instantly power on when plugged into a battery and is it fine to have xt60 on the battery and unity and then xt90 for the loop key

It will most likely work but the power output will be limited to ~750W (based on 50A continuous for the 4.12 hw).

If you have the possibility go for a minimum of 6S or 8S, this will give you the same amount of power with less strain (lower currents) on the VESC.

Thanks. Well I think current won’t be an issue since this is for my 6 years old kid. He not more than 15kg I think. I would like to go as light as possible, I would make acceleration curve really slow so he won’t get hurt…

Also range is not an issue, everything more than 5km is more than enough.
